Work Empowers Women: why we're supporting SisterWorks this International Women's Day

International Women's Day is a good reminder that change isn't just a conversation. It's what we choose to do, especially when it's simple and practical.

At OrganicSpa, we're big on that. We make Certified Organic skincare for people who want professional results without harsh chemicals, aggressive treatments or quick fixes. Purpose matters to us, but only when it's backed by action.

This International Women's Day (8 March), we're donating $5 to SisterWorks for every product sold on www.organicspa.com.au, for one day only.

So, who are SisterWorks?

SisterWorks is a not-for-profit social enterprise that supports women from migrant, refugee and asylum-seeker backgrounds on their journey to economic independence. Their belief is straightforward: work empowers women.

They're not about "inspiration" in the abstract. They're about the real-world things that help someone move forward: confidence, connection, skills and the opportunity to earn.

The SisterWorks story

SisterWorks began in 2011 with a group of women who were new to Australia. Through shared work, they found community, confidence and purpose. That small beginning has grown into something powerful, now supporting more than 3,500 women from 105 countries.

Why this partnership feels right for OrganicSpa

We've always believed in the long game.

In skincare, we don't love shortcuts. We're not here for harsh solutions that create new problems down the track. We prefer consistent, well-formulated care that supports the skin over time.

SisterWorks takes a similar approach to independence. It's not about a one-off moment. It's about building capability, step by step, so that women can create stable, meaningful work and a stronger future for themselves and their families.

And like us, they're clear about what they stand for. No fluff. No vague promises. Just work that changes lives in a tangible way.

How you can support

On 8 March only, when you shop at OrganicSpa, we'll donate $5 per product sold to SisterWorks. Or, if your skincare supply is healthy and stocked, you may want to jump straight to their website and donate directly to them.

Thank you for shopping with purpose. Together, small actions add up.
