Description
Lactic Acid is the gentlest of the AHAs. Its molecules are larger than glycolic acid's, so it works closer to the surface, and it's a humectant as well as an exfoliant, which means it hydrates while it resurfaces. This cleanser uses it at 3%, enough to do real work in the sixty seconds you spend massaging it in. Soap Nut, naturally rich in saponins, lifts away make-up, oil and grime while helping to reduce redness. Sea Buckthorn adds vitamins A, C, E, and K, plus omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9, and Calendula soothes as it cleanses. Skin is left clean and comfortable rather than tight, with texture and tone looking more even over time.
Is Lactic Acid vegan?
Lactic Acid is often assumed to come from milk. Ours is derived from fermented fruits and vegetables, so this cleanser is vegan, like every OrganicSpa product.
Will it suit sensitive skin?
Lactic Acid is the AHA most often recommended for skin that reacts easily, and this formula pairs it with Calendula and Soap Nut to calm. A slight tingle on application is normal.
Application
How to Use:
Use daily. Apply a small amount to damp skin and gently massage in circular motions over the face, neck, and décolletage for 60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Avoid the eye area
